The Powder Room was a gold award winning show garden exhibited at the inaugural Auckland Flower Show in 2008. The design took elements from a luxurious interior powder room and translated them into a contemporary outdoor courtyard space.
The design consisted of a series of organically curved forms that created different spaces and zones, from a natural material palette. A monochromatic colour scheme kept the courtyard garden chic and sophisticated, while at the same time accentuating the tactility of materials, light, and individual forms.
